Aamal Company and Elsewedy Cables launch Doha Cables, Qatar’s first cable manufacturing plant
	DOHA CABLES LLC has become Qatar’s first cable manufacturer following the official opening of its first plant in the country in the Messaieed Industrial City. The launching ceremony was held under the Auspices of His Excellency Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry of Qatar on Tuesday, 25th May at the Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel. DOHA CABLES is a subsidiary of Senyar Industries, a 50:50 joint venture between AAMAL Company Q.S.C. and ELSEWEDY CABLES, the Middle East’s leading integrated cables and electrical products manufacturer. The new plant is expected to make a material contribution to the future industrialisation of Qatar by helping to meet the increasing demand for cables driven by the country’s rapid infrastructure development. This plant demonstrates the commitment of both Aamal Company and Elsewedy Cables in realising the vision of H.H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, of supporting the wider development of infrastructure in Qatar.
