Aamal and the Qatar Cycling Federation launch the Online Registration Platform for “Aamal Ride”
Doha, 10 October 2023: Aamal Company Q.P.S.C., one of the region’s leading diversified companies, is pleased to announce the launch of the website and registration platform for “Aamal Ride”, which will be held on November 17th in Lusail, in cooperation with the Qatar Cycling Federation. Details of “Aamal Ride” were first announced earlier this year.
The Ride will start from Lusail Boulevard and includes four routes of different distances, each of which has been allocated to a specific category of participants according to their cycling capabilities and experience. The long distance loop (85 km) is suitable for expert cyclists who can maintain at least 25 km/hr. average speed. The middle distance loop (56 km) is suitable for good cyclists who can maintain at least 22 km/hr. average speed. The short distance loop (14 km) is suitable for anyone who knows how to ride a bike and has good road awareness. Finally, the inclusive ride distance of 1.6 km is open to everyone including families, children, and those with mobility challenges. The event will be sponsored by Bridgestone, TotalEnergies and Doha Cables, as well as Al Faisal Holding Company.
