Sale of Treasury Shares of Aamal Q.P.S.C. Owned by Gulf Rocks Company L.L.C.
Doha, Qatar – November 8th, 2017: Aamal Company Q.P.S.C. (the Company) announced that it commenced the sale of the treasury shares owned by Gulf Rocks Company L.L.C. in accordance with directives from Qatar Financial Market Authority (QFMA) on this matter and complying with Article (15) of the regulations concerning listed companies buying and selling their own shares. The Company obtained QFMA’s approval to sell the said shares, and notified Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) in accordance with the rules in the aforementioned regulation.
The total number of treasury shares owned by Gulf Rocks and approved by QFMA for sale is 157,066 shares. On 19 September 2017, a total of 6,655 shares were sold. The remaining balance of 150,411 shares are being sold in accordance with the procedures stated in the aforementioned regulation.
